Quando si calcola la lunghezza complessiva di un ordito, si deve considerare anche la parte che non verrà tessuta, ma che sarà necessaria per annodare l’ordito alle aste anteriore e posteriore del telaio. Una volta finita la tessitura, si può anche unire il vecchio ordito ad uno nuovo, mediante il nodo chiamato “del tessitore” che ha la caratteristica di non sciogliersi sotto tensione. Ci sono moltissimi tutorial su youtube. Si può utilizzare questo metodo anche solo per cambiare il colore dell'ordito.
Ho provato pertanto ad unire ordito vecchio con quello nuovo: 180 nodi! Dopo avere avvolto il nuovo ordito al subbio posteriore del telaio, mantenendo l’ordine dei fili con due listelli, ho provveduto a modificare il rimettaggio. IL nuovo progetto boundweave utilizzerà 8 licci (point twill 7/1)

Alte und neue Kettfäden knoten
Bei der Berechnung der Gesamtlänge einer Kette muss auch der Teil berücksichtigt werden, der nicht gewebt wird, sondern zum Verknoten der Kette an den Kett-und Warenbaum des Webstuhls benötigt wird. Nach dem Weben kann die alte Kette auch mit einer neuen verbunden werden, mit dem so genannten „Weberknoten“, der die Eigenschaft hat, sich unter Spannung nicht aufzulösen. Es gibt zahlreiche Anleitungen auf youtube. Sie können diese Methode verwenden, auch um die Farbe der Kettfäden zu ändern.
Ich habe also versucht, die alte Kette mit der neuen zu verbinden: 180 Knoten! Nach dem Umwickeln der neuen Kettfäden an den Kettbaum des Webstuhls, wobei die Fadenreihenfolge mit zwei Latten beibehalten wurde, änderte ich die Reihenfolge der Fäden in den Weblitzen. Das neue Boundweave-Projekt wird 8 Schäfte verwenden.(Point twill 7/1)

Knotting old and new warp
