Accipicchia! Dopo aver lavorato alacramente per settimane al progetto Space Invaders, dopo aver finalmente levato dal telaio il tessuto, chiuso i fili sul retro, scelto la fodera, mi apprestavo a cucire e rifinire la borsa....La macchina da cucire mi ha abbandonato e l'ho mandata in revisione. Chissà quando sarà pronta... tempi biblici!
Non ripeterò più questa tecnica su fondo nero: impossibile lavorare alla sera con la luce artificiale, difficile notare gli eventuali errori e correggere!!
Prossimo progetto: sciarpa tecnica deflected double weave, per iniziare bene questo 2022!

Frohes neues Jahr!!
Nachdem ich wochenlang hart an dem Space Invaders-Projekt gearbeitet hatte, nachdem ich den Stoff endlich vom Webstuhl genommen, die Fäden auf der Rückseite geschlossen und das Futter ausgewählt hatte, war ich bereit, die Tasche zu nähen und fertigzustellen....Die Nähmaschine hat mich im Stich gelassen und ich habe sie zur Überarbeitung geschickt. Wer weiß, wann sie fertig sein wird... biblische Zeiten!
Ich werde diese Technik auf schwarzem Hintergrund nicht mehr wiederholen: Es ist unmöglich, abends bei künstlichem Licht zu arbeiten, und es ist schwierig, mögliche Fehler zu erkennen und zu korrigieren!
Nächstes Projekt: Halstuch, Deflected double weave, um Jahr 2022 so besser als moeglich zu beginnen!

After working hard for weeks on the Space Invaders project, after finally taking the fabric off the loom, closing the threads on the back, choosing the lining, I was ready to sew and finish the bag....The sewing machine abandoned me and I sent it to be overhauled. Who knows when it will be ready... biblical times!
I won't repeat this technique on a black background any more: impossible to work in the evening with artificial light, difficult to notice possible mistakes and to correct them!
Next project: technical deflected double weave scarf, to start well this 2022!
